Last year I wanted to do something for me,  So I experienced my first Triathlon.

This was pretty amazing,  I felt the best I ever felt. I rode my bike to work and home everyday for training, I swam every other afternoon, and walked on the other days ( I don't run so I walked during the Triathlon).  On Sunday my Friend and I would do the full Triathlon in our neighborhood to get prepared.

Since this was my first Triathlon and hers as well we wanted to be ready for anything.

Well let me tell you, when I got into the water after training in the Swimming Pool for months it was a scary feeling.  I felt lost at first.  I trained my self to do the crawl the whole way, but I ended up doing the breast stroke so that I could see where I was going,  I got confused with all the people kicking and splashing and with the water murky and not clear, it really took me by surprise.  I finished in 24:17 minutes.  I was really proud of my self.  We went to our bike next and that was wonderful.  I did amazing and lost connection with everything even my friend that I was riding with.  I didn't do it purposely it was just like I went into a zone.  I finished in 44:42 minutes.

After that we went onto the walk (since none of us run) and we took pictures of scenery around us and of us having a great time.  ( I guess you figured right by now that we weren't Competing to win, but we competing to finish.)  We had the best time doing this.  My time in the walk was 36:53 not bad since we were taking our time.  I finished the whole Triathlon in 2:26:40.  We were all impressed with our score and we plan on doing it again this year.

Below are some of the items that helped me train for the Triathlon that we carry in our store.

This system alows you to swim in one position in your pool to have a better flow and continuous swim time.  This is a perfect system to have during your training.
